Is there such a thing as falling out of love?
By TiltinShoes on 11-21-2008 12:45 PM

What do you think?  If you have made someone hate you that once loved you.  Is there any way to get it back?

With a 50% divorce rate I'd say yes it's very possible.

Don't know what you did to make them hate you, but it's possible to change that depending on what you did.

just means they didn't love you in the first place. it was probably confused for love since you're young but you don't hate the people you love. you can hate what they do, but to truely love someone, you never rly hate the actual person. i guess the most obv example of this is parents and children. its a form of love that will never go away, unless they just never cared in the first place.

so just pee in her butt, thats all you're good for anyways

Not your typical young couple.  We didn't just meet and get married on wym or a short time span.  Have been together for a very long time.

The question remains....

What did you do to piss her off?

Three way with her mom and sister?

If you didn't do anything then she's likely just seeing somebody else and using that as an excuse to end things.  That's similar to what happened with my sis-in-law and her husband.

I dont believe you can "fall out of love" because of a dispute or argument. The love will always be there if it was in fact true love. Maybe you have to win back the respect if it was over something you did wrong. I think of "falling out of love" more as a sign that the spark is gone and you dont have wild animal secksy time anymore like you did when you were "so in love".

Honestly, its worse than that and not as bad at the same time.  She knows I would never cheat on her.  I have just changed for the worst since the marriage.  I used to have so much drive and ambition.  Now I am a lazy piece of shit.  I used to be one of the more fun loving guys you could meet.  Now I am a couch potato that doesnt do anything fun- though I have worked out enough to keep my girlish figure.

sounds like we're in very similar situations man.. i'd like to think you can't fall out of love, that the love with always be there.. but sometimes you have to move on for the sake of happiness.. if you stay good friends there's always the chance of getting back together when you're both ready.. don't know if this sounds like your situation but i'm basically just giving myself advice there haha, so if it applies to you awesome
