1.  The promotional code for the poker room of my choice does not seem to work.  What should I do?

Contact us immediately at promotions@pocketfives.com and we will contact the poker room to reach a solution to the problem.

2.  What steps do I take in order to set up my new account for the Free Training Promotion?

First, you must create a special new account for this promotion.  This account is separate from your PocketFives.com account!  In order to create this account, you must visit our Free Training Landing Page.  Once in the Free Training page, simply pick which Training Site you would like to receive free through our promotion.  This takes you to our current poker rooms in participation with our promotion.  Pick the best poker room option open to you and then complete the form.

Please make sure to read the Terms and Conditions for each room and download the software through the links provided in this page.  If there is a bonus code provided within this page, make sure to inlcude it within the poker room's deposit or membership application to be tracked back to our site and become applicable for the promotion. 

3.  After I have completed my requirements for the promotion, what is the next step in the process?

After completing the requirements set by the poker room of your choice, you must then log in to the Free Training  page.  Once logged in, click the box titled "finished," and it will take you to a page in which you must check the box indicating you have finished the requirements.  This will send an email to the poker room for verification.

4.  Will the number of raked hands I participate in also go towards clearing my bonus?

Yes.  The Free Training promotion works separately from the poker room's deposit bonus.  Because of this, your raked hands will also go towards clearing your deposit bonus amount.

5.  Will I be able to participate with my current P5s account?

Unfortunately, this promotion requires a new (and separate) account for tracking purposes.  To set up a new account for this promotion please visit the Free Training page.  This account cannot be used to post in the forums, and you will not be able to log into the rest of PocketFives.com with this account--you can only use it for the Free Training promotion!

6.  Why will my new P5s account not allow me to post on the Forums?

Your new account is for this promotion and tracking purposes only.  In order to post and reply to our forums and submit articles, you must either log in with your normal PocketFives account or create a new account on PocketFives.com by visiting our Registration Page.


Requirements FAQ

1.  How do I check on the total number of raked hands in which I have participated or points I have accumulated?

Most poker rooms will have these totals available to you under their cashier option.  These totals should only be thought of as estimates, and you should contact the poker room's customer service or support in order to verify your total points or raked hands.

2.  After I have set up my new account for the Free Training Promotion, how long do I have to complete my requirements?

Through this promotion, you are required to fully finish the poker room's requirements within 60 days of signing up for the promo.

3.  I have never made a deposit with a poker room in which I am currently a member.  Will I be able to use this account for the Free Poker Training?

You must download the poker room's software through our Free Training page, start your new membership, and deposit the required amount for the first time in order to be eligible for the Free Training promotion.  If you already had an account with the poker room, you must choose another one from the list.  Please know that we are always in efforts to get more poker rooms involved in this promotion.

4.  What can I do if my account runs out of money before I fulfill my requirements?

If this happens and you still would like to finish your requirements and receive the free training site membership, you must deposit more money into the poker room in which you are participating in for the promotion.  You will still be tracked in the promotion and receive the Free Training once the requirements are met.


Training Site FAQ

1.  How long after I complete my requirements and log back in on PocketFives can I expect to receive an email from the Training Site in order to start my account?

Once you have clicked the finished button after logging back in to the Training Promotion page, assuming your requirements actually are met, the process should only take five business days to receive a confirmation email from the Training Site of your choice.  Please be patient if it has been more than five business days, as the poker room you chose could be experiencing a problem.

2.  Do I have to pay the sign up fee for the Training Site for this promotion?

No.  For this promotion you will not have to pay anything to the Training Site.  All fees are paid for and you will receive the Free Training free of all charges.

3.  Can I sign up to participate in more than one Free Training Promotion at a time?

If you wish, you may participate in all Free Training promotions available at one time.  Please remember that this will require depositing in the same number of poker rooms as you sign up for Training Sites.  For example, if you wish to receive three free Training Site memberships, you must deposit in three different poker rooms and meet all requirements.

4.  Will there be more Training Sites and poker rooms added to this promotion in the future?

It is our goal at PocketFives.com to bring you more Training Sites and poker rooms in the near future.  Please stay posted as we will notify the community through the Free Training Page, as well as the Training Sites Forum.

5.  Will I be able to view the videos for each site while offline?

In order to view the Training Site's videos offline, you must first download them to your computer for later viewing.  Currently, both PokerFox and StoxPoker allow you to download the videos for offline use as long as you authenticate them while on the site.  Real Poker Training videos can only be accessed while online.
